Why would I modify a comment, this is a civil discussion, I see no reason to censor it (I only would for some massively offensive comment).

My issue with your post in particular is that calling someone an asshat in response to one sentence of a post is incredibly immature. Netiquette dictates that you should assume one has good intentions when it is open to interpretation, which is very much was in this case.

Once again you misread what I was saying. I wasn't criticizing his advice to give it a chance, I was objecting to his "So just give it a shot and quit complaining." I've been using Firefox 3 and the Smart Location bar since early betas and I have given it a chance. What I object to is the common belief that simply because I don't enjoy what he and so many others love we're supposedly mentally deficient.

My sister said I have one problem: I call things as I see them. I don't sugar coat them, and I hate being "politically correct." My post was a response to yet one more people acting like people who dislike the Smart Location Bar (I can't even bring myself to call it by it's unfortunately popular name) as if we're mentally deficient, and I believe anyone who takes that attitude is, in fact, wearing their buttocks for a hat.

I've tried being nice, polite and understanding, yet I see the opposite in return in way too many posts on way too many sites. And no, I'm not at all sorry for my choice of words, there or in any similar post.

(Feel free to remove my post if you wish, but it will not reflect favorably on you if this sentence is the only one deleted.)
